Camp Information

Located in Rancho Santa Margarita on the border of Mission Viejo, Oso Lake is easily accessible to all units. The camp features a 100-acre lake, 15 acres of land and is surrounded by O’Neil Regional Park.

The Oso Lake facility is currently available to all units for open camping and the council offers organized weekend programs geared towards Webelos Scouts through First Class. Fishing Merit Badge, Water Conservation and Paleontology programs are also being explored and developed.

BSA 2010 Centennial Encampment

How do you cap off a 100th anniversary? With a celebration like no other! A celebration so large it’s going to run for four days beginning Thursday, November 11th, 2010 through Sunday, November 14th, 2010 at Prado Regional Park.

Planning is well underway to make this a fantastic weekend for all of Orange County’s scouts – Tiger Cubs through Venturers.

Planned activities at the event will focus on 100 years of Scouting in the outdoors, with program-specific Action Areas for Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts, and Venturers and Explorers. There will be inter-patrol competitions, camp wide games, special events, displays and exhibits, awesome evening shows, and much, much more!

Fees:

Overnight Fees:
Paid by September 30 - $35 per person
Paid after September 30 - $50 per person

Day Visitor Fees:
Paid by September 30 - $ 7 per person per day
Paid after September 30 - $10 per person per day
